Shennongjia mountains and Shennongjia Nature Reserve Area, the second geomorphic level marked by multiple planation surfaces; Shennongding-the first peak in Central China; abundant biodiversity and refuges in Central China, such as virgin forest, alpine meadow, whitening animals, rare and endangered plant species in the local botanical garden; local human landscape.
Dajiuhu Peatland: Quaternary remnants of glaciations, karsts landform, the East Asian Monsoon evolution and the occurrence of Holocene alpine peat bog.
The Three Gorges Dam: Multiple planation surfaces and valley geomorphology of the Three Gorges of Yangtze River; visiting the Three Gorges Dam and Research Centre on Geological Hazards.

June 1 st :8:00-16:00 bus from Wuhan to Muyu Town; 11:30-12:00 lunch in Yichang; 14:00-14:30 visiting the native town of Wang Zhaojun, a famous beauty in ancient Chinese history; 16:30-17:30 visiting the town Muyu; 17:30-18:30 supper, stay overnight at Muyu.
June 2 nd : 8:00-12:00 bus from Muyu Town to Dajiuhu Peatland, visiting alpine geomorphology, botanical garden, virgin forest and local human landscape; 12:00-13:00 lunch at Dajiuhu; 13:00-17:00 field at Dajiuhu peatland; stay overnight at Dajiuhu.
June 3 rd : 8: 00-12:00 bus from Dajiuhu to Zigui Town; 12:00-13:00 lunch at Zigui; 13:00-15:00 visiting Three Gorges Dam, the biggest dam on the Yangzi River; 13:30-16:30 bus from Yichang to Wuhan.
